Geology: 
Regional: Labrador Trough-  Folded (SW-verging), faulted (strike-slip and/or thrust faults), metamorphosed sedimentary and igneous rocks.

Property:  Differentiated gabbro layers interbedded with sedimentary and pyroclastic rocks
Mineralization:
Mainly massive sulphide lenses with average thickness of less than 1 m, located in highly chloritized and pyritized gabbro
Massive sulphide mineralization is found in chlorite schists and gabbro, while disseminated sulphide mineralization extends into gabbro, tuff, lapilli tuffs and chlorite schists.

La Fosse Platinum (1987) calculated Non-43-101 resource for Lepage at 790,000 t grading 2.76% Cu and 0.66% Ni. Platinum group metals are thought to average about 1.0 g/t Pt and 3.1 g/t Pt
