Geology:
Fourth of July Batholith, a multiphase granite to hornblende diorite intrusive; extensively cut by younger (Cretaceous to Tertiary) dykes ranging from aplite/granite to diabase/gabbro.

Mineralization:
Series of mineralized vein/shear/dyke systems cutting medium to coarse grained granodiorite with varying amounts of sphalerite, galena, arsenopyrite, pyrite, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite, tetrahedrite, molybdenite, scheelite and cassiterite in a quartz calcite gangue.

Results:
Proven ore reserves based on 1966 drilling are 8400 tonnes grading 792g/t Ag,4.9%Pb, and 3.1%Zn, with another 11,000 tonnes indicated at similar grade.
